These companies can weather the storm of low prices but will benefit when the prices recover. I also get paid a dividend higher than long term bonds to wait.

Smart move. I'd add a further condition: buy only companies with low debt and good cash flow that can do acquisitions with limited dilution. That way you get a growth element as well.
