I have been keeping track of the position of The Explorer". Basically until today's movement, the ship was sitting in same spot, 10 Kms N of Walvis Bay & about 4 Kms W off Namibia's coast. This position lies S from Block J. But now, since I last checked yesterday AM, the ship has moved out to an area that is not covered by vessel tracker. Does that mean --- what? Interesting developments, no?
In any case, I emailed Bernard to ask for an explanation on why explorer was in same spot for about 10 days. His explanation was that the 2 crews of 53 odd members each had to be trained, as well as the necessity of testing/running the equipment, gps calibration, etc.
It seems that we are on the verge of some interesting by IMDH, maybe the long awaited exploration action.
By the way, I have found that Bernard does take the time to (honestly) answer queries from those interested enough to attempt a contact. IMHO
