I understand your thought process here but...... My thinking is that there is now a race going on to get land base in areas where there is known to be oil but few have gone in those areas before. The BP thing really changes things. Small and probably even the mid tears are going to be costed out of areas like the gulf and alike.

Some areas in Africa have already started hiking the Royalties. The Kenya area is about 20-30% lower Royalties than many neighboring countires as I understand it. I think Keith H. is probably spot on by working toward continueing on this course through 2010. I believe the major drilling efforts will not start till 2011. Say 3 years of aquiring options and 2 years of drilling to prove up a sizable resourse and the big buy out say in early 2013 or so???

Lucas L. and Keith H. have an awesome track record of just that. If we get real lucky maybe AOI will have a simular story to Tanganyika. I know that is thinking big but that is what these guys do. They are not there for a double.
