Back to lagging - a little deeper now

posted on Aug 04, 11 06:19PM

I always think of this one as a great trading buy when it slips below $60 where it stands now - actually around $54 +.

But even from this price level, it could still take a while til it turns around again to a profitable point, and who's got the time for that? Maybe this is more suited for younger folks than those who need to see "results" more quickly, befor someone goes & puts us in a home. Having reached my age the hard way, i would share this bit of observation:

The hare trying to get "there" faster than the tortoise tends to end up losing the race in the long run to his much slower rival.

Bottom line: all that rushing around & chasing SP's wasn't worth it. Would have been better off overall to buy good dividend yielding stocks.

Despite all that, i think this one is a screaming buy at these prices, unless the POG plunges badly, which i do NOT believe will happen for any meaningful duration.

GL!
