A marketcents exclusive… a look at ATI Airtest Techologies Inc. today and the strategic plan for the next 3 years. Hold on tight cuz here we go!!

AIRTEST TECHNOLOGIES INC. – EXISTING BUSINESS

  • AirTest Technologies is a Green-Tech company specializing in sensors that improve commercial building operating efficiency and at the same time create significant energy savings.
  • Our products are well accepted in the North American market by building owners, mechanical contractors, controls contractors, energy service companies, and the field operations for major controls manufacturers such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trane and Siemens.
  • We are the only company in our industry that offers the combination of;
    • A broad product offering with several energy-saving devices
    • A focus on the retrofit market which represents 99% of all buildings
    • Strong technical and training support for each application
    • Quality products at very competitive pricing
    • Test cases and references for each major market segment we target.
  • We have developed and continue to develop unique and proprietary technology that provides us with a differential advantage over competitors.
  • From an investor standpoint we are an undervalued stock, we are very much under the radar, and with adequate financing we will enjoy rapid growth that will lead to being ‘run over’ by one of the majors thereby creating an automatic exit strategy for our shareholders. This has happened with every other company in our industry once they have achieved a noticeable critical mass.
  • Our sales results to date do not reflect our market acceptance, nor the business available to us with our existing product offering. We are still enjoying reasonable growth, but have been greatly restricted due to the lack of sufficient capital to drive the business forward.

Note: Current sales on our existing business at $1.8 million for 2009, and with several recent developments we anticipate $4 – 5 million in 2010. Without the new technology we can expect to grow this business to the $20 million level over the next 3 years.

ACQUISITION OF GAME CHANGING PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY

  • License Agreement signed with Airware Inc. was announced Nov 10/09 and will provide AirTest with direct access to many very high volume sensor market applications.
  • AirTest now has exclusive license rights to a recently invented infrared sensor technology that will provide a huge step forward for various sensor applications that are widely used in today’s global market.
  • The new sensing technology will overcome present concerns regarding cost of sensors, sensor drift (loss of accuracy over time), sensitivity to temperature and/or pressure changes.
  • The technology has already received a favorable preliminary report from Oakridge National Labs in Tennessee, one of the world’s most respected testing agencies. Oakridge will be conducting ongoing tests on many prototype models over the next several months to confirm the patent claims regarding lack of sensor drift, and susceptibility to temperature and pressure changes.
  • This technology will open the door to AirTest for several very large volume specialized applications that were previously unavailable to sensor manufacturers due to cost considerations, or lack of stability in previous sensor technology. Some of these are;
    • Hot water heaters – a much needed combustible gas detection control system that the industry has sought for the past 8-10 years due to pressure from regulators resulting from excessive residential and commercial fires. In the USA alone roughly 5.5 million water heaters are manufactured annually. Target price for the new technology once completed and tested would be $10-15 per sensor.
    • Smoke detectors – the opportunity this technology will provide is for a better quality, longer life detector with a much lower cost than any of the better products available today.
    • Carbon monoxide detectors – Most of the residential units sold today are not accurate and subject to drift. The better ones are quite expensive as compared to the cost that will be available with our new technology.
    • Atmospheric testing for CO2 levels – again a cost advantage and no calibration requirement, as well as no sensitivity to pressure and temperature changes.
    • Neighborhood testing of outdoor air quality. Some cities are prepared to provide air quality information over the internet but have no economic means of air testing. With the new technology we will be able to provide a maintenance free and low cost multi point sensor to provide data on CO, CO2, NO, and humidity levels over an internet feed tied in to a street lighting system.
  • The new technology will provide a much improved product at much lower cost in the existing AirTest markets, which include;
    • Commercial CO2 sensor market
    • Parking garage market for CO and NO2 sensors
    • Refrigerant sensor market
    • Combustible gas sensor market
  • OEM sales to existing players in the global CO2 sensor market which is estimated to be more than $100 million annually and growing rapidly, will also be available to ATI or an affiliated company.
  • There will undoubtedly be many industrial sensor market opportunities as well.

Note: The new proprietary technology offers a strong opportunity for Airtest to become a $100 million + company within 3 years.
