I'm holding a few shares of Alexco. Went to Silver Summit in late September and saw presentation and was impressed. Very high grade silver potential. Bellekeno Mine is a go and should be in operation by mid-late 2010. Small mine with relatively short reserve life but just the beginning for AXU. They are unique in having both a great prospective mining district combined with an environmental unit that has good earnings power and has given them the edge to get control of the Keno Hill mining district.

Bellekeno should give them cashflow to continue exploration. Another short term possibility is to reprocess the large amount of tailings from the old mining operations. This will also serve to eliminate more pollutants, as it's likely there is toxic runoff from these exposed tailings but also give AXU more production and cashflow.
