VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 30, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- ALIX RESOURCES CORP. ("Alix" or the "Company") (AIX)(FRANKFURT: 37N) is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement with Blair Naughty dated Sept. 23, 2009, whereby the vendor has granted Alix an option to acquire a 100-per-cent interest in seven claim blocks comprising a total of approximately 2800 hectares located in the Stewart mining camp. Six claims are in the vicinity of the new Montrose gold discovery announced by Decade Resources Ltd. on its Red Cliff property, and the other mineral claim (approximately 400 hectares in size) is tied to the Canasia Industries Corporation Clone gold property.

Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, to earn its option, Alix must pay the vendor $22,500 in cash, and issue a total of two million shares in the capital of the company. The vendor has retained a 3-per-cent net-smelter-return royalty of which Alix can buy down one per cent through the payment of $1-million in cash or shares to the vendor prior to commercial production.

Four claims are located east, one to the north and one to the south of the discoveries made by Decade Resources Ltd. and in the area of the holdings of Ascot Resources. Decade Resources recently announced drilling results of 7.3 grams per ton of gold across 28.3 metres and 5.78 grams per ton across 28.4 metres (Sept. 14, 2009 Press Release) and 7.5 grams per ton gold across 32.5 metres (Sept. 3, 2009 Press Release). Ascot announced 11 metres of 50 grams per tonne gold on September 22, 2009.

The second property, is directly tied on to the east of the Canasia property located south east of Stewart, BC, who recently announced in a September 17th news release - "The second phase of drilling on Canasia Industries Corp.'s Clone gold property, situated 18 kilometres southeast of Stewart, B.C., is now complete and six of the 15 holes drilled in phase two contained visible gold in sections. The operator has recently informed Canasia that due to high gold values obtained during the first phase of assaying, the results are being rechecked prior to release from Pioneer Laboratories."

"We are thrilled to have secured such a diverse package of prospective gold properties in two different camps that are the subject of intense staking and drilling by various companies at the present moment," states President Mike England.

Located in the area of Stewart in north-western British Columbia, the Stewart mining camp hosts significant gold mineralization in several structurally controlled, sulphide-replacement zones occurring within a well-mineralized trend of the Hazelton group volcanic rocks common to the Stewart-Iskut-Eskay Creek gold district. The Jurassic Hazelton group in this area is the main host for significant precious and base metal deposits including the Silbak Premier, the Big Missouri, the Silver Coin, the Sulphurets, the Red Mountain and the Eskay Creek deposits.

Alix Resources is a junior exploration company actively seeking mineral and energy opportunities for the benefit of all our stakeholders. For further information we invite you to visit us at www.alixresources.com .
