ALIX AND GEO COAL DRILLING UPDATE
December 22, 2009, VANCOUVER, B.C. - ALIX RESOURCES CORP (AIX-TSX:V) and GEO MINERALS LTD. (GM-TSX:V) ("The Companies") announce that the Companies have completed their Phase II drill program on the Red Deer Lake Coal Property in west central Manitoba. Five (5) drill holes were collared and completed on the Companies 31,904 hectare (78,836.5 acre) land position located on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border. The Phase II, Red Deer Lake exploration program was designed to test the near surface coal potential of the northwestern portions of the Red Deer Lake Coal Property to assess its potential to host a coal deposit similar to Goldsource's neighboring Border Property. A helicopter portable drill rig was utilized to access and drill the most prospective areas.

The five (5) holes drilled during the program totaled 695.30 metres (2,280 feet) and were completed by the Company's contractors CorePro Drilling Inc. from October 30 - November 24, 2009. Roke Technologies Ltd. of Calgary, Alberta was contracted for downhole geophysical logging where required for this program. No intersections warranting analytical procedures were encountered in the Phase II drill program, therefore the Companies will be dropping their interests on these Manitoba properties.

The technical contents of this release have been reviewed and approved by Paul D. Gray, P.Geo., a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
