Alix Obtains Approval for Rare Earth Properties in Quebec/Work Program to Begin Immediately

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, May 04, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

ALIX RESOURCES CORP. ("Alix" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: AIX)(FRANKFURT: 37N) is pleased to announce it has received approval of titles from the Quebec Ministere des Ressources Naturelles et de la Faune for ground applied for (see PR Jan 22, 2010) adjacent to the Exploration First Gold (TSX-V.EFG) Pivert/Rose property.

Alix has now contracted Habitants Minerals Ltd. for immediate prospecting, mapping and sampling of the titled ground with a crew mobilizing in the next few days. The general geology of the titled ground is shown to be similar to the EFG discovery area as outlined on the GESTIM online staking service. The Company now has three separate claim groups attached to First Gold's Pivert/Rose Property, bordering on the North, Northeast and East. The three claim blocks total approximately 920 hectares.
