Well,
Anybody that has been around for more than a couple month is seeing a real turnaround in management lately. This is very encouraging. They now have drills turning on 3 company making projects which 2 have already returned good grades. Size will be the determining factor for each.
Loveland returned 1.5% combined CU and NI which is fair, but the thing to not is that they are trying to prove that two separate historical ore bodies are actually 1. If this is so, they will have a massive deposit. The other interesting part of this project is that the historical ore bodies were near surface, the latest drilling demonstrated that the grades and intervals get better and wider at depth. This has big potential.
Horwood only returned a couple grams per ton on average, but the distance over which the mineralization has been traced is over 6.5kms. The mineralization is also at surface. Even if low grades between 2 - 7 g/t Au are found, this will have such a large size that it does not matter. An open pit gold mine becomes economically viable very quickly with todays gold prices.
Ajax I do not know much about yet, but they have been drilling it for quite some time now. This is the big property of the 3 with the most potential, according to management.
Over the course of the next few months, drill results will start to prove up each of the properties and they will be marketing this story accordingly. Now with new website, europeen market exposure, new writer for the news releases(Which are much more readable no?), new IR Firm for Amador and much more to come, Amador is positioned for a long and steady climb from the meager prices recorded on Friday.
The junior market has been horrible for almost 4 months now and this company is not at a loss for anybody that was in before December. Amador has held its own in very uncertain markets. This is a long term play, invest and forget.
Thought the big push seems like it will be for Amador right now, all the other companies will slowly come into the limelight when their time is right. The whole group will be worth alot in the long run, but for now concentrate on Amador as it will be made an example of the new operating procedures for the Hughes Exploration Group. If this is successful, I could see the same marketing model applied to the rest of the companies when their time is right.
Start building positions in most of the companies that are still under the 10 cent range in the HEG, in a couple years time they will be worth much more. Specificly look at KG, it will have a spin off 4:1, which is said to start trading at around 0.40$. That being said, you will more than double your money just with the spin-off. COD will be drilling the Kimberlite pipes after their PP is closed. Their spring drilling will hit some "special" targets.
Time will tell, but these are going to be profitable years to come. In the short, we have to get out the these recession markets and hope for the best. In the long term, these will become proven Ore bodies and either go into production or be sold off. Invest and Forget.
