Message: NR title/permits approved for mine in El Cafetal

Vancouver, British Columbia – Caerus Resource Corporation (the “Company”) (TSX-V:CA) is pleased
to announce that after conducting a legal review we have determined that the Environmental Licence
issued for the El Cafetal Mining Title is valid and contains all the permits needed to drill, develop and
put a mine into production. The Licence includes the main natural resource use permits needed to
conduct exploration drilling, and for the production of gold concentrates. In addition, work conducted
by the Company has resulted in the issuance of certificate number 1189 dated June 22, 2012 from the
Ministerio del Interior (Interior Ministry), that confirms there are no indigenous communities within the
area of influence of the project, an important event for the advancement of the project area.

An extensive exploration program completed over the past sixteen months has identified a 600 by 300
meter anomalous gold, silver and copper zone. Confirmation of this zone was accomplished by a three
phase program which included underground sampling, surface Mobile Metallic Ion sampling (SGS
Laboratories proprietary technique) and a ground IP/MAG program. The Company interprets these
results to indicate a potentially bulk mineable target and plans to move forward with a phase one drill
program. A National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report is currently being prepared by Paul Pelke, a
Qualified Person and consulting geologist to the Company.

Mr. Paul A. Pelke, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 and a consulting geologist to the Company has
reviewed the content of this Press Release.
