Welcome on board nijinsky70. Like you I bought at a shade below $3 because I heard about APB late. I have all my family members in it as well which adds to a tidy sum. After due diligence I became a shareholder for the LONG HAUL. I am not a trader or a speculator so I am not afraid of the dips. You cannot hold down a paradigm shift for long. Just be patient. Solar energy is going to be one of the energy alternatives that will grow exponentially. Recently, the ASEAN countries comprising Brunei (a big oil producer),Cambodia,Indonesia(another member of OPEC), Laos, Malaysia(member of OPEC),Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore Thailand and Vietnam made climate change the main focus of the summit meeting. ASEAN is promoting solar, hydro, wind and geothermal power. Singapore has embarked on a strategy to establish itself as a center for solar energy. Last month, Norway's Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) announced an investment of US$4.31 billion to build a manufacturing plant in Singapore for solar wafers, cells and modules. APV's entry is timely. Its location in Germany is a wise move as Germany is the largest solar play in Europe. China and Japan are moving into this as well. India is reported to be participating too. US will catch up with California leading the way. Energy from the sun is universally available with no geo-political interference or strategic risks. Oil, gas, hydro, wind, and uranium have each their disadvantages. Now you are in APV, just rest assured, turn a deaf ear to all the hypes, bashers and dumpers, and believe in your convictions. One note of comfort (speaking as an ex-Singaporean), Singapore's leaders are wise and have great foresight, and I would take the tag from their decision to go solar. My view of APV is that its listing price was under-rated as it has not incorporated its enterprise value based on its own proprietory research in silicon cells which has provened successful. So even at $3 per share, the stock is being offered at a discount.
