ARISE Technologies initiated with "sector perform"

posted on Jun 03, 08 06:07AM

NEW YORK, June 2 (newratings.com) - Analyst Michael Willemse of CIBC World Markets initiates coverage of ARISE Technologies (A3T) with a "sector performer" rating. The 12-18 month target price is set to C$2.15.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company expects to increase its solar cell production to 125 MW by 2010. ARISE Technologies’ is likely to benefit from the potential increase in global energy prices, rising electricity needs and increasing environmental concerns, which is expected to fuel sectoral growth in the next decade, the analyst says. The company is currently in the process of developing two proprietary technologies, although commercial production is unlikely to start until 2010, the analyst adds.

2.15 in a year to 18 months. Not bad for Arise. And there should be even higher target prices coming after 2010 when production of the solar cells begin! Huge!!!!
