I'm sure the topic of silicon came up at the visit. The Minister is fully aware of the number of jobs the silicon plant and also production plant would produce. They want 50k and a good chunk could come from this program.

Just my opinion but the province along with the SDTC (federal gov) will not allow the silicon program to fail

As grid parity approaches the demand for high grade silicon will skyrocket. Should be interesting to see who gets involved with the 7n program
