ARISE Technologies presents at Germany Trade and Invest Event

WATERLOO, ON, June 10 /CNW/ - ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSX: APV and Frankfurt: A3T) PV Systems Division President and company founder, Ian MacLellan, addressed an audience of German and Canadian delegates at a trade and investment event organized by the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Inc. The purpose of the event, held at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto on June 9, 2009, was to explore investment perspectives and opportunities in Germany. Mr. Matthias Hoepfner, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany delivered welcoming remarks. This was followed by keynote speeches by Mr. MacLellan and Mr. Peter Alltschekow, Director Eastern Germany, Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI).
"I am personally delighted and honoured to address this audience this year and to report on the progress ARISE has made in our new PV cell manufacturing plant located in Bischofswerda, Germany which opened in April 2008," said Ian MacLellan.
