WATERLOO, ON, Sept. 7, 2011 /CNW/ - ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSX: APV and Frankfurt: A3T) ("ARISE" or "the Company") which is a leader in high-performance, high-quality, cost-effective solar technology, today announced that Ian MacLellan, its founder and Chief Technology Officer, has ended his employment with ARISE effective immediately.

"We would like to thank Ian for his many contributions to ARISE," said Dan Shea , CEO of ARISE. "We wish Ian the best in his future endeavours."

There are no plans to replace Mr. MacLellan at this time.
