I agree 100% with Neuman's analysis, and that is why I believe the most important piece of information that must be released at this time is the fees paid by Kinross to Aurelian management for "lock up" (ie. staying with Kinross after the close) or "non-compete" (as famously abused by our Lord Conrad Black).

If, as I suspect, these fees are large then this explains the management support. If they are not large, then I just can not explain why they would not hold on for a better offer down the road even if they could not afford to do any further drilling (which with $52M in cash, they can).

The majors need gold...we have it...and once the mining law is released many intermediates and majors would have been knocking on our door.

I think Patrick forgot the golden rule....those with the gold rule.
