The official said the long-awaited new mining law will be presented after a referendum to approve the new constitution of Ecuador, which would give greater powers to the president Rafael Correa on the local economy.

Another waiting game for us ARU shareholders. I was really hoping Ecuador would present the new mining law before the referendum. Looks like Correa doesn't care about the unemployement and proverty situation their government has created with the mandate. Why after the referendum? If the vote is a YES/NO what difference does it make to the new mining law? Things don't make sense once again.
