I know some people who were using a margin account. While the acquisition took place, their shares were frozen like some of you. Only after the extreme volitality of the last 3 weeks during which no one could make a decent move/buy or sell they have now lost all their shares, due to not having enough cash to cover the margin call (after a 40% drop... anything could happen...). They were not told by their broker that an acquisition was taking place and the possiblity of being a dissenting shareholder was also not told...

What could you do in such a situation, is compensation at hand??
