Cherry Picking Funds

posted on Nov 05, 09 01:20PM

Well it appears more and more cases of Fund managers being caught and prosecuted, along with lawyers who aided and took part, in insider trading and Cherry picking of their funds. Who would ever have guessed that such ethical pillars of our society would be invovled?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

For those of you who are not familiar with what Cherry Picking A Fund is then let me explain.

It is a dirty form of insider trading. It is even dirtier that regular insider trading because instead of someone just getting information before others and using it to buy ahead of the crowd in which case his personal buying may trigger a raise in share price profiting others.

This Fund Cherry Picker usually uses inside information from the privilaged position he has with the company whose fund may own a large block of that companies shares. Now upon learning of good news that would drive a particular stock up in his fund significantly this fund manager can either sell that stock on the market, lowering its price so that he can buy it up cheaper for his personal account and make more when the good news hits or he could even just cross it to his personal accounts.

Either way the poor investors in the fund who have taken all the risk see little or no return on their investment. While the fund manager who is being paid by the investors in the fund to boot makes all the money. Hahahahahahahahahaha.

This is one possibility to explain why it always seems to me that the share price of a company seems to dip prior to good news coming out. Perhaps it is always just coincidence hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I am sure that never happened with our Aurelian share price though.

Of course it would be easy to find out, just look up the trades and follow the money and shares, hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Of course as has recently happened in the US when a fund manager is caught practicing such dirty tricks his fund will quickly be terminated. After all who would invest in a fund with virtually no upside, only a moron.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this investing is easy when you know the real rules of the game hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahha,

All in my honest opinion of course.
