11:51 AM EST, 02/21/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Barkerville Gold Mines' (BGM.V) shares dipped 4.3% Wednesday to $0.67 apiece in a 52-week range of $0.41 - 1.39 after announcing drilling results from the 2017 Phase II Island Mountain exploration and infill drilling program at its flagship Cariboo Gold Project.

Barkerville said it has intersected 23.9 g/t Au over 6.65 meters at Shaft Zone and 12.2 g/t Au over 13.3 meter intersected at depth. The company added that it is currently exploring and delineating the Shaft Zone with seven drill rigs.
