Bear Lake Gold Grants Stock Options

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 6, 2009) - Bear Lake Gold Ltd. (the "Company" or "Bear Lake") (TSX VENTURE:BLG) announces the grant of incentive stock options to acquire an aggregate of 2,772,500 common shares of Bear Lake, of which 2,075,000 options have been granted to directors and officers. The options are exercisable at $0.275 per share, which was the market closing price on January 29, 2009, the day preceding the grant. The options have a five-year term and options granted to certain optionees are subject to vesting in accordance with the governing option agreements. All options are subject to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
