This sheds a bit more light on your topic.

Since February 2007 Biocurex has been working on the development of a

point-of-care or rapid test for cancer. The test, which is similar in appearance to a dip-stick pregnancy test, is intended to be used by physicians in their office as a first step in detecting cancer. As of April 15, 2009 Biocurex had further advanced the development of the dip stick and had tested approximately 400 serum samples.
