BOLD VENTURES APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT AND ELECTS TWO ADDITIONAL DIRECTORS

Bold Ventures Inc. has appointed Gary F. Zak as president and chief executive officer. Mr. Zak brings over 28 years providing business development management to public resource companies. He has extensive experience in financing early-stage companies, organizing management, corporate and investor relations groups, and has successfully completed several mergers and acquisitions.

The company is also pleased to announce the appointments of Jerry Bulman and Chad Belenky as directors, which increases the board to six members. William E. Schmidt and Chris Dyakowski were both re-elected as directors, and Kenneth Phillippe was re-elected as chief financial officer and director. The board regrets to announce that Brian Welch has resigned from the board to focus on other companies. Bold Ventures thanks him for his service and wishes him the best in his other endeavours.

Bold wishes to thank David Rees and Mr. Welch for their many years of dedicated service to the company. Mr. Rees and Mr. Welch were both founders of Bold and led the company in the pursuit of mining exploration ventures that will continue to be pursued. The board looks forward to continued consultancy with Mr. Rees and Mr. Welch, as the company continues to move ahead.

"Bold's new project with Noront Resources in the McFaulds Lake area Ring of Fire is going to be an exciting exploration time for the company," states Mr. Zak. "The Ring of Fire is quickly becoming the most exciting exploration area in Canada, and Bold has a strategic position in the centre of this exciting play. We have assembled a great team and while Dave and Brian will be missed, I look forward to building on the base they have established."

About the new officers and directors

Gary F. Zak -- president and chief executive officer

Mr. Zak has been active for the past 28 years, providing business development management to public resource companies. He has extensive experience in financing early-stage companies, organizing management, corporate and investor relations groups, and has successfully completed several mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Zak has occupied senior management and/or directorship positions in various companies, including Bold Ventures, Forum Uranium Corp., Alto Ventures Ltd. and Beaufield Consolidated Resources Inc.

Jerry Bulman -- director

Mr. Bulman is the chief executive officer and founder of Parkvalley Consulting Ltd., a private company based in Calgary, Alta., that provides consulting services to the resource sector. With over 30 years of senior management experience, Mr. Bulman has been involved with the exploration and development of a diverse range of projects. These include oil and gas, coal bed methane and oil sands developments, as well as several projects in the mining sector. In addition to his duties as chief executive officer of Parkvalley Consulting Ltd., Mr. Bulman is a director of Molystar Resources Inc., Major Gold Ltd., and Kernow Resources & Developments Ltd. Mr. Bulman currently provides senior consulting services to two major international energy companies, in support of their Arctic and North American frontier exploration operations.

Chad S. Belenky -- director

Mr. Belenky is the president of Parkvalley Consulting Ltd., a private company based in Calgary, Alta., that provides environmental consulting and project management services to the resource industry. With a background in land resource management, Mr. Belenky has more than 15 years of energy and resource sector experience.
