Glad to see that I am not totally alone in here. You ask a great question that I would also love to know the answer to. As far as I can tell Bombardier has lost several really large contracts while gaining some more modest ones. However, I really think that it is the lousy economy, real problems in the airline industry and the perception that it will take a return to good times in the aerospace industry for Bombardier to get moving again. I also think that the less than stellar earnings from Boeing did not help the cause. I am beginning to look at this stock as a relatively long term investment story. However, I do like the management and they make some great products, particularly subway cars and people movers. The airplanes are not selling in nearly the numbers that I would like.
