Breakwater Resources Ltdis a mineral resource company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and mining of base metal and precious metal deposits in the Americas.

BWR earns its revenues by selling zinc, copper, lead and gold concentrates to smelters and traders globally.

Breakwater has three producing zinc mines: the Myra Falls mine in British Columbia, Canada; the El Mochito mine in Honduras; and the El Toqui mine in Chile.

The Langloismine in north western Quebec, Canada has temporarily suspended operations (link to October 28, 2008 press release).

Breakwater is listed on the TSX under the ticker BWR.

Breakwater’s non-mine site exploration is currently managed through Joint Ventures where other companies are earning interests in Breakwater projects by carrying out and providing the funds for the exploration. These are listed below.
