Bronco Announces Conditional Listing Approval for Its Private Placement Financing

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2009) -

THIS PRESS RELEASE IS NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES OR THROUGH US NEWSWIRE SERVICES

Bronco Energy Ltd. ("Bronco") (TSX:BCF) announces that it has received conditional listing approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX") for its previously announced private placement financing of $24 million principal amount of Secured Subordinated Convertible Debentures. Bronco is working toward closing of the transaction and is awaiting one procedural regulatory clearance. Bronco anticipates closing this offering during the week of May 11, 2009.
