Vancouver, BC, Canada – Tuesday, October 7, 2008 – Carbon Friendly Solutions Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange: CFQ) (“CFS“or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Slawomir Smulewicz to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Smulewicz has over 15 years of experience as an independent businessman and is a significant shareholder of the Company. He controls and serves on the Board of several private consulting and construction companies in Europe. Mr. Smulewicz graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Science (SGGW) Warsaw, Poland, with a Masters Degree in Agriculture and Business Administration.
“We are very excited to have Slawomir serve on our Board of Directors. He has a thorough understanding of both the Carbon Markets and Projects designated for the Carbon Markets, specifically in Europe. He will bring a wealth of business experience to our operations in Poland”, said Stan Lis, President of the Company.
The Company also announces that it has accepted the resignation of Mr. Peeyush Varshney from the Board of Directors effective immediately. Mr. Varshney wishes to fully concentrate on his other prior commitments and the Company thanks him for his past contributions.
