Callinan Mines Receives Largest Quarterly NPI Payment To Date

VANCOUVER - Callinan Mines Limited (TSX.V-CAA) has received a quarterly interim instalment payment from HudBay Minerals Inc. The payment of CAD$3,313,723 represents 75% of the total due for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 under the company's 6 2/3% net profits interest in HudBay's 777 Mine in Flin Flon, Manitoba.
