TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 15, 2009) - Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc. (TSX VENTURE: BLK.V) is pleased to announce that pursuant to articles of amendment dated January 14, 2009, Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc. has changed its name to "Canada Lithium Corp."

Effective January 19, 2009, the common shares of Canada Lithium Corp. will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "CLQ".
