So, the well failed to flow. It sat for so long that the driling mud formed a hard impenetrable scale. No surprise there.

I suppose they were hoping the pressure would be enough to overcome this, and produce at least a few barrels.

Now they are talking about 'stimulating'. All the posters on SHouse etc assume this means fraccing.

What about acid treatment? That is what is done when the problem is mud scale or blocked pores in close the proximity to a well. This is what Enegi did, with some success, quite close by. Since Enegi did this, surely there would be no problem with SHP getting permits to do the same. Fraccing would be more controversial, and permits might be difficult. Besides, we were told the formation (GPS) is already heavily fractured.
