The one thing I am very sure about is that ''they'' will do anything to keep gold down in the immediate future. Eodways comment about changing the goalposts is probably right .

Gold will win out in the end. It shows how bad or good an economic system is.A more complete measure of a country's economic health you couldnt ask for:

How much of a given currency is needed to buy one ounce of gold?
