Annual Report 2009

I have been reviewing the annual report for 2009 I just received in the mail today. Under "Notes to Financial Statements" on page 29, the Mary March Property that the "Adjudication Board's positive decision of October 23, 2009 is in favour of Phelps Dodge Canada, as the ownner of the Mary March property, and therefore Canstar would signify an end of the long dispute. However, under the Mineral Act an appeal on a point of law could be taken to the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador. The matter has already been considered by the Court of Appeal and the re-hearing by the Board followed the direction of that Court."

ith respect to the last sentence above, I am confused what that really means. Can anyone help me understand?
