Castle Gold Announces Management Change

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Oct. 30, 2009) - CASTLE GOLD CORPORATION (Castle Gold or the Company) (TSX VENTURE:CSG) today announced that Thomas Atkins, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, is leaving his position with the Company effective today. The Board has appointed Milton Baehr as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and James Mark Plaxton as the Interim President of the Company both of whom are existing Board members.

Further, in accordance with the Majority Voting Policy and based on the results of the Company's Annual & Special Meeting of Shareholders held earlier in the year Mr. Atkins had previously tendered his required resignation as a member of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors wishes Mr. Atkins the best of luck in his future endeavours.
