VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 22, 2010) -
Centurion Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CTN) ("Centurion", "the Company") is pleased to announce that further to its December 7th news release, it has closed a brokered private placement and issued 1,161,300 shares priced at $1.55 per share for gross proceeds of $1.8 million.


Maison Placements Canada Inc. arranged the brokered private placement and in this regard has received a finder's fee of $144,000 and 116,130 broker warrants exercisable at $2.00 for 18 months. The shares issued are subject to a four month hold period expiring on April 23, 2011.


Net proceeds from the subscribers will be used for exploration and drilling programs on the Company's properties, due diligence of further potential projects, and for general working capital purposes.
