Century Mining Corporation, Blaine, WA. TSX.V : CMM, is an emerging mid-tier Canadian gold producer formed in 2003. The Company’s corporate strategy is to acquire and develop properties with previously discovered and undervalued mineral assets into operating mines. Century forecasts 80,000-90,000 ounces of gold production in 2008 at a cash cost of US$370 per ounce, including 65,000 ounces from its Sigma and Lamaque Mines in Québec and 14,000 ounces from its Peru operations.

In Canada the Company operates the Lamaque Mine in Val-d’Or Quebec, which is scheduled to recommence mining operations in November 2008, upon completion of development work and bank financing due diligence activities.

In Peru the Company operates the San Juan underground gold mine that it acquired in May of 2006 when it acquired 60% controlling interest in San Juan Gold Mines S.A.A. In December of 2006, the Company increased its interest to 82.6%. The remaining 17.4% interest is owned by the past and present workforce of approximately 1,100 shareholders. The Company accounts for 100% of gold production, subject to a 10% NPI owned by San Juan Gold Mines, of which the Company receives 82.6% of this NPI.

The San Juan Gold Mine in Peru is currently in production and expected to be producing at an annualized rate of 25,000 oz. Au/year by the end of 2008.
