VANCOUVER, Oct. 11 - Chapleau Resources Ltd. (CHI: TSX-V) has completed a 34 line-km Induced Polarization (IP) - dipole-dipole geophysical survey over the northwestern part of the known gold-silver and base metal mineralized structures at Coringa. A well developed chargeability anomaly is associated with the Galena-Vessa-Boca-Juara mineralized structure extending over 1.4 km and is open to the northwest and southeast. The IP survey also confirmed the extension of the Serra structure over 800 m and open to the southeast of Hole 19. The chargeability anomaly associated with the mineralized structures is confirmed to depths of 137 m.
The Phase 2 diamond drill program of 5,000 m has commenced on the 1.4 km Galena-Vessa-Boca-Jaura mineralized structure and the 800 m Serra mineralized structure. This phase of drilling is being done with two drill rigs.
