("Hawthorne" or the "Company") (TSX-V: HGC, US: HWTHF) is pleased to announce that it has commenced discussions with various parties to enter into an equity and/or debt facility for resource definition and related underground development at its Table Mountain Mine.

The Company expects to make a decision as to whether to proceed with the equity and/or debt facility by the end of August and will issue a subsequent news release once that decision has been made.
