Fred Green, president and CEO of Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd., bought 5,000 company shares on November 19, 2008 for prices ranging from $39.18 to $39.25. This brought these holdings to 25,927 shares. See a similar transaction here

Melvin Belich, chairman of Compton Petroleum Corp., bought 100,000 company shares between November 12 and November 19, 2008, for prices ranging from $1.40 to $1.54. This brought these holdings to 2,504,616 shares.
