Condor Resources announces a 178 pct increase in resources at La Calera project

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Condor Resources PLC announced a 178 pct increase in resources at La Calera project, and a 10 pct increase at El Pescadito project in El Salvador.

The AIM-quoted company said there is a 48 pct increase in global Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) compliant gold resources at 747,000 ounces, and a 11 pct increase in silver resources to 22.3 mln ounces.

Chief executive Nigel Ferguson said the company is confident that once it is awarded the environmental permits to drill, resource ounces will be increased significantly at both these projects. tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.com pmi/rw
