Hello Mr. Jurek and Mr. Warrior,
You both know your stuff. And you both communicate in a very reasonable and mature way.
I did mention the foreign exchange gain but my area of expertise is not securities law or corporate law, so did not explain it as well as Jurek. I did mention it however, and a number of replies were not very nice.
In my business, truthfulness and accuracy of information are extremely important. So, I believe that shareholders deserve both an accurate and frequent story as to what is happening with the company. Everything that is material should be reported immediately to shareholders. It's the only way that we can know what's going on.
Some days will be good days and some days will be bad days. But when we have a lot of our money invested we need to know when the days are good and when the days are bad and what is being done to make the bad days good days.
I agree that message boards should support and encourage the company. But the information should be accurate and honest and frequent and headlines such as "Record Earnings" should not be used in situations where the earnings and cash flow are based almost solely on foreign exchange gain.
I believe that CLL is a very good company but it presently has to work out its problems. And all shareholders should be kept up to date.
