It is really not significant news at all, but a technical accounting issue that differs between the US and Canada -- it is simply the correction of a FOOTNOTE that reconciles the reported Canadian GAAP used and the different US GAAP. The auditors even missed that one, quite embarrassing I would think for them.

The interesting question is why anyone was looking at the old financials so close that they figured this out now. Perhaps the new accountants were going their DD, perhaps someone else more intriging was????
