Jesse like many people had the misfortune of not having depression drugs to raise Serotonin levels. I don't know if you watched the PBS series on the national parks but the man that created the national park system as a government entity back in the 20's was a multimillionaire the suffered bouts of depression that required him to be hospitalized for period of 18 months at a time. In today's society he would have been cared for with Lexapro and never skipped a beat.
