""The best and brightest of our posters are being harassed and run off the board""
Sorry, but that is just sheer B.S. Nobody is running anybody off this board for wanting more information. Everybody wants more information....BUT....that just isn't how business is done in a situation like this.
Quite simply, would a General tell the media his step-by-step strategy of his battle plan a week before the event, I don't think so. Crystallex has always had a lot of enemies who would love to see us fail and quite frankly wouldn't be adverse to giving us a helping hand.
Disclosing our strategies for public/industry consumption would be a big mistake. For good reason. Fung does not want to talk about preparing for arbitration as he probably feels it would just enflame the situation and in the end result would only make the companies job more difficult.
However, I do agree with Ian and GW that there is no reason, I can think of, why he could release a statement saying something like.....If we require a financing in the near future we are prepared for that eventuality....period...
The thing that gets me is by saying a PP will not be considered leads you to wonder why or how they would get financing. Is there something in the works that will preclude our requiring an outside financing, a deal where a partner with lots of money takes over that aspect of the deal. We don't know and if he says to much it might just F% our possible deal. There are so many variables that we just don't know and quite frankly shouldn't know, to make the assumption we know what were talking about.
Fung is not a moron and if there is a way to salvage this deal and turn it into a profit maker I'm willing to let him do his job in this oh so very difficult situation. What real choice do we have. Fung is an extremely disciplined business man and if he's made the determination that it would be to risky to say too much, then it just won't happen..period.
