ACCRA, Nov 18 (Reuters) - Ghana plans to double minimum
royalty rates on mining activities to 6 percent and engage the
sector on dividends, exemptions and the fiscal regime, the
country's finance minister said on Wednesday.

AngloGold Ashanti

Iduapriem, open pit mine - 200,000 ounces produced in 2008

Obuasi, underground mine - 357,000 ounces produced in 2008


Newmont

Ahafo - Expecting 500,000-525,000 ounces sold in 2009

Akyem - undergoing feasibility study


Gold Fields Ghana Ltd

Tarkwa - 612,000 ounces gold produced in fiscal 2009

Damang - 200,000 ounces gold produced in fiscal 2009


Golden Star Resources

Bogoso/Prestea - Expecting 200,000 ounces produced in 2009

Wassa - Expecting 200,000 ounces produced in 2009
