hugo is looking for a small offensive action from columbia...then he can tell his people "see, i told ju peoples dat the yankees would try to impose thier will on us"

i think hugo believes this could get him thru the 2012 elections....

i'd like to say that the ven people are too smart for that, but to be honest, the last few years hav'nt exactly impressed me with regard to the average venezuelan ingenuity/entrepeneurship/intelligence....

i think hugo would be better off to just promise them more "checks in the mail"
