i cant figure out the CIT/C bankruptcy????

it seems to me that citibank will go on unaffected by the BK of CIT?? how do they justify letting 2+bil of taxpayer money disappear and not hold the parent company responsible?

what am i missing here? i know CIT is C's holding company....so why is C not on the hook?

i'm confused....
