Dios New Uranium UGO Project Yields 0,058% U3O8
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2009) - DIOS EXPLORATION (TSX VENTURE:DOS) received the first outcropping rock samples results from a first three-day reconnaissance on its UGO uranium property in the LaGuiche Basin, Quebec, Canada. Dios geologists collected thirty-two grab-samples from radioactive tonalitic and pegmatitic outcrops on this new property. Best assays were 0,058; 0,040; 0,031 and 0,03 %U3O8 within a one kilometres-radius. The property is owned 100% by DIOS EXPLORATION. The DIOS' team is of the opinion it has uncovered a new uranium district in Quebec, with all its new uranium discoveries in the Opinaca area.

DIOS is in a good financial position and has the funds necessary to pursue its exploration programs for the next few years with its 5 M$ hard cash working capital, without incurring any share capital dilution. DIOS has only some 34 333 839 shares outstanding.

The UGO property is centered on a uranium lake bottom sediment anomaly cluster from SDBJ data including 11 samples over 25 ppm U INAA (parts per million uranium analyzed by neutron activation): 230, 88, 76, 52, 42, 36, 32, 28, 26, 26, 26 ppm U INAA over a 16 km by 4 km area. Values of 1150 and 970 ppm U were obtained when analyzed by atomic absorption (AA). Available government mapping suggests that the UGO property is underlain by LaGuiche biotite paragneiss (from 1 to 4 km thick) sandwiched between two Archean anatectic granite-tonalite plutons (Granite du Vieux Comptoir). The LaGuiche paragneiss are injected by granitic pegmatite dykes/sills. A NW Mistissini gabbro dyke cuts these lithologies. The property is also located near the contact between the LaGuiche and the LaGrande Sub-provinces. This environment is favourable to a Rossing-type (8% of the world production) large volume uranium model. Samples were analysed at the Val d'Or ALS CHEMEX laboratory. Field readings of 1,000 to 7,000 counts per seconds (radiation solution RS-125) with U/Th ratios between 1,2 and 5,0 were observed on the property.

The UGO property, composed of 139 contiguous mining cells (cdc) totalling about 71 square-kilometers, is very easily accessible, as it is located 1 to 7 km south of the Trans-Taiga all-seasons road and of LaGrande-3 hydro-electrical reservoir, James Bay, Quebec. It is also located about 20 km north of DIOS U2 uranium project.
