egX Group Updates Status of Trading Platform

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 5, 2008) - egX Group (TSX VENTURE:GFG) announces that, in preparation for launching egX Canada, it has received the final major release of its trading platform software from OMX Group (OMX).

"This is an important juncture in the trading platform project", stated Mary Wong, President of egX Canada. "Upon completion of our internal testing in March, 2008, egX will initiate testing its trading platform with participants of the Canadian marketplace."
