Look at the Nissan situation, complicated and remember that electrovaya's last presentation states their cost to manufacture batteries in large volume is about 150 per kwh. Nissan is targeting 200 per kwh whether they produce them or buy them. They obviously would rather produce them in-house and have spent a fortune to do that. If they were to licence electrovaya's technology they could easily meet the 200 per kwh price and not have to face the loss of jobs and major, major investments in the battery plants. If they go with LG they will have to pay back government money and write off the money spent on the Tennessee and UK plants. Seems like a good solution to go with electrovaya and maintain control of their own battery production.http://uk.reuters.com/article/2014/09/15/uk-renault-sa-nissan-batteries-idUKKBN0HA0CC20140915
